How to take care of your houshold linens

Valombreuse has put together this guide to help you look after your household linen.

WASHING

For machine washing, place your linen in the machine, select the delicate cycle and make sure the temperature does not exceed 40°C.

IRONING

For all our embroidered linen, use a steam iron on a medium-high heat and iron it on the reverse side of the embroidery. To make this step easier, iron your linen when it is damp and use starch spray on any pronounced creases.

DETERGENT

With the exception of white embroidery, we advise against using bleach or fabric softeners.
Use a liquid detergent without bleach or bleaching agents to avoid damaging the
embroidery.

STORAGE

Fold and store your clothes in a cool, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight, as this could cause them to turn yellow.
